It has been a big week here at Strive Theatre HQ as we reflect on a busy weekend of performances and look forward to another one. Thank you to the great team and lovely folk at St. John’s Theatre, Listowel for looking after us so well on Friday last, and to all of you who came to see the show. Ye were a brilliant audience! So interesting to see the play live in a new space and we are delighted with how the performance came together and the warm reception it received. So nice to get a few emails and kind messages over the week from some who were there!
Electric Picnic was its usual kaleidoscope of colour and noise and it is always a buzz to contribute to the festival! We are so proud of Damian and Judith for sharing powerful performances at Hazelwood, and breathing life into the play in a festival setting. Mile buíochas leis an bhfoireann Hazelwood/ An Chollchoill.
Tomorrow see us take to Kenmare! Very special to be back in the Carnegie, many years since our last performance there. It is a gorgeous space and we are excited to see the play come life in such a setting…
We can’t wait to get down to ye Kenmare! Big thanks to the staff of The Carnegie who have been smoothing the path for our arrival… Going to be a blast!
Grá mór.
