Here are a few snaps from our trip to Bere Island last week. So special to be part of The Bere Island Arts Festival and huge congratulations to Pauline and the whole team for executing such a magic festival. Was a real pleasure to be on the island and have so many come and engage with the performance.
Performing in an old Garrison Church, it was a good challenge to install the show in another new type of space, but one that we found stimulating. Fair play to Judith and Damian for fantastic performances, adapting their movement to a wider space and consistently finding new moments. Huge respect also to the crew, turning an old church into a theatre space and working through lunch to have the show up and ready….
To the audience, ye were fantastic! Truly present throughout and lending great energy to the performance…
Next up we head back to Allihies, where it all began, to take part in The Allihies Autumn School, whose theme this year is An Cailleach… We can’t wait!
